Project_10 Q31 StudyTitle Probing for comorbidity: evidence for other psychiatric disorders in compulsive checking

Description: This study (Q31) is one of a series of studies performed in the Szechtman lab at McMaster University and deposited in the FRDR public repository as a collection under the name "A Digital Library of Behavioural Performance in Standardized Conditions - Szechtman Lab Collection". This collection as a whole constitutes a big dataset containing raw data objects of video, track, and path plot records of rats exploring for 55 minutes a large testing environment in a standardized paradigm during chronic treatment with psychostimulant drugs; for details of this big dataset see, https://www.frdr-dfdr.ca/repo/collection/szechtmanlab. The historical context for study Q31 was Project_10 entitled: "Probing for comorbidity". Title of the experiment in Q31 was "Effect on performance in tests of depression and anxiety by rats expressing compulsive checking". As part of the experimental design, a chronic quinpirole and a chronic saline group received 10 trials in the open field to induce compulsive checking, which was then followed by various tests of depression and anxiety. The present dataset provides raw data objects only from the open field trials.
