CESM 1.2.2 climate simulations for the study of climate state dependence of cloud feedbacks and climate sensitivity.
Description: | This data set was used for the study performed for the degree of Master of Science by Brandon Smith. The goal of the project was to highlight the climate state dependence of cloud radiative feedbacks and other climatic responses to CO2 doublings. The model output herein exists as 30 year climatologies for variations of background climate state (labeled by fraction of present day solar luminosities) for Control simulations, CO2 doubled simulations, and CO2 quadrupled simulations. Responses to CO2 doublings are determined by analyzing the difference in characteristics of a variable between a control climatology file and a doubled or quadrupled CO2 climatology file. |
