Off-grid automatic precipitation measurements of pH, conductivity, and dissolved organic carbon across the Newfoundland and Labrador Boreal Ecosystem Latitudinal Transect
Description: | Monthly collections with a new off-grid automated precipitation sampler were performed across the Newfoundland and Labrador Boreal Ecosystem Latitudinal Transect from 2015 to 2016. The systems were validated with measurements of pH, conductivity, and dissolved organic carbon. The power package for off-grid operation was tested under summer and winter conditions, with and without solar top-up of batteries. |
