This dataset contains the raw data files and aligned peak tables from the crab gill samples analyzed for the manuscript https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jcoa.2022.100069. The data were collected on a LECO Pegasus 4D system (LECO Instruments, St. Joseph, MI, USA), with an Agilent Technologies 7890 gas chromatograph (Palo Alto, CA, USA). Raw sample files are provided in the original .peg file format as well as a more accessible .mat format. The .CSV file contains the aligned peak table obtained using the Statistical Compare function on ChromaTOF® (v.4.72; LECO Instruments, St. Joseph, MI, USA).
