Data files used to evaluate differences in foraging behavior of 2 aerial insectivore species with contrasting foraging ecologies, Barn Swallows (Hirundo rustica) and Tree Swallows (Tachycineta bicolor). Dataset includes GPS tag data for each individual used to identify point locations over 1 day during the chick rearing period to compare movements and foraging habitat use at 17 breeding sites in agricultural landscapes of Saskatchewan, Canada. Dataset also includes R scripts for the habitat selection models.
