Scour Pool Incision in Bedrock Canyons
Description: | Support data for M.Sc Thesis: Scour pool incision in bedrock canyons. A flume experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of lateral constrictions on the initiation and evolution of the scour pool morphology in bedrock canyons; as well as how flow constriction affect the patterns of flow, erosion, and sediment deposition in the canyon. Raw data and calculations used to generate the figures and tables. This dataset was originally deposited in the Simon Fraser University institutional repository. |
