Salmon subsidies predict territory size and habitat selection of an avian insectivore

Description: This dataset contains habitat, stream salmon biomass and bird survey data from a study conducted from April to July in 2015 and 2016 on the Central Coast of British Columbia near Bella Bella. We conducted surveys at eleven forest plots each centered around a stream (plot extending 375 m upstream and 125 m upland). The data in this dataset includes vegetation (shrub, forb, and tree) composition and cover at 49 plots per stream, annual spawning salmon biomass at each stream, and Pacific Wren density, body condition, territory size and countersinging rate.
